All new client relationships begin with a 2 hour in-home consultation where we discover the extent of your design requirements. This interactive meeting allows us to get to know you better and review your prep-work before walking through your home together, identifying your problem areas and discussing possible solutions. During our meeting we discuss the direction, expectations, timeline, and budget of the desired design. In true consultative fashion, we delve into your needs so that we can provide you with detailed steps pertaining to your project. The ultimate goal is to determine a clear path forward based on your needs, wants and budget. We want you to fall in love with the way we do things, as we want to fall in love with your residential or commercial project – we expect nothing less so that, together, we can create something simply astonishing that fits your lifestyle. You let us know the ‘what’, and we will figure out the ‘how’.
Once we receive your consent, and a signed agreement, the planning phase of your residential or commercial design project begins. We photograph your current space, record measurements, and meet with the relevant trades. Preliminary designs are drawn and every aspect of the plan is fine tuned, as we establish architectural finishes, fixtures, colour schemes, fabrics, and furnishings. During this phase we meet with you again to present all of our discoveries and provide you with our professional design recommendations. At this point we will review the budget with you and make any necessary changes. Once you approve, we accept the project deposits and begin the heavy lifting.
During this step we handle the order process, visit the site as required, and ensure that construction flows smoothly with all contractors and trades workers. We confirm that products are delivered and installed as planned. Once construction is complete, your site is cleaned, furnishings and accessories are delivered, and your space is expertly styled. When this phase is complete it is the time we have all been waiting for: the big reveal! We conduct a walk-through with you to ensure that every detail has been crafted and arranged to your satisfaction, and any potential deficiencies are resolved. At this time, we take professional photographs of your finished space. Final invoicing is issued, and a client binder is built that contains every single detail of your design project.
